In 1957 Bonnie and Bob Dues started a small RV business in downtown Dickinson, Texas. Bob ran the business out of a Sinclair gasoline station he owned. The business prospered, and in 1969 it relocated to its current address at 2619 Gulf Freeway in Dickinson. After Bob and Bonnie left the business, Bob’s son Eddie Dues and his wife Betsy continued to operate it until they sold it to Todd and Catharine Walker in 2018. Through booms, busts, hurricanes, and floods, Dues Camping Center has continued offering RV parts, service, and repairs at reasonable prices and with a down-home friendly attitude.
